Our services
So, how do we get started, and what should we expect for a first session?
This process starts with a referral
A referral can come from any number of places. For example, a doctor, a teacher, your parent/guardian, and (as long as you are 13 years or older in WA State) you can make one for yourself.
To make a referral, email me at stephanie@integrityfirstfamilyservices.com in order to determine whether or not I have room on my caseload to provide you with the therapy services you need and deserve, and in order to determine whether or not we would be a good fit in working together. Please note our business hours below, and we make every effort to return your message within 48 business hours.
Please note that my email address and business phone number are not crisis lines. I also do not have a working text message line or text message crisis line. So, if you are experiencing a crisis, it will be important for you to step away from your computer or hang up the phone and dial 988.
After your initial screening, and we determine whether or not we would be a good fit in continuing to work together, you will either be provided with a referral to another provider or you will be scheduled with an intake session, which would be the next step in this process.
Your intake session date will be based on several factors
Our availability and flexibility in scheduling
My capacity to take on new clients
My being currently paneled with your insurance provider
Your willingness to engage in self-pay therapy services
Your completion of the intake paperwork at the time of the intake
Your intake paperwork
This paperwork must be completed prior to the time of intake. If it is not completed at the time of intake, then this appointment must be rescheduled.
This paperwork gives the therapist a snapshot of what is going on and gives you a comprehensive legal understanding of your rights as a client and in our responsibilities to one another as we enter a therapeutic relationship together.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions/concerns regarding the paperwork prior to your intake session.
Your Intake session
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, and current government recommendations for social-distancing during that time, therapy sessions have become available via Telehealth or in-person. Please note that, as such, this is determined on an individual case by case basis.
Telehealth occurs on an online platform and allows for us to meet in a comfortable and confidential space.
Your initial intake session will last anywhere from 1-2 hours, and will include a comprehensive assessment guided by the therapist that will allow your therapist to understand your goals for your work together as well as understand how best to partner with you in our work together.
Following this appointment, a therapy schedule will be established that will include weekly to bi-weekly, 45-50 minute sessions (time is determined by insurance coverage) until goal completion, or until either you or your therapist decide to end your work together and part ways.
